I’ve been feeling, a lot lately, like all is lost. Everything sucks. All Hope is gone.

I know my Hope is found in God.
And my Joy is from God.

And right now, that’s all I have. The only reason, I can keep moving along is my hope and reliance on Him.

But I’ll be honest, I feel like I’m running on empty.

There’s an interesting thing that happens, when you move away from your home town, and into a city which becomes your home…

And then move away from that home… back to the city you grew up in.

I can’t sleep… my mind is racing… I know what’s new.

I am unbelievably uncomfortable. I would almost consider myself, disturbed. Disturbingly, uncomfortable. I’ve always lived my life, “on the road”. Sort of.

I have traveled a lot, I have lived all over the USA. From Florida to LA. My life has been lived. I need a new story. Living in the Midwest has its perks… but it has more downs. I know I’m meant for more. I know my soul longs for Heaven.

But, I can’t help but think of something a friend once said, “..my soul is longing for more. And I don’t mean for Heaven… for more than that. I know my soul longs for Heaven and to be with my heavenly Father… it’s unsettled…” (paraphrased a lot)

Usually when I get this unsettled… God moves big. Like physical movement.

To…

1. Not have a goal

2. Not take complete control

3. Not know what’s going to happen in the next 6 Months

4. Fully rely on God

Is the hardest place to be. It’s so countercultural. It’s controversial.

BUT It is 100% where ~~we are~~ I am supposed to be.
